Hi

Just joined this forum, am a member of a few other good forums too but very happy to find a forum for Camper Trailers.
Im 28 from Coffs Harbour NSW, currently travelling Australia (on the road since March 2010), with my fiance and 3 year old son.
We have an offroad camper trailer (Oztrail Camper 9). We decided on a camper trailer over a caravan, aprt from cost was the extra room we need with the little fella. With the annexe out and side walls up, we gain plenty of extra space.
Our trailer is basic, mainly to keep things simple and as light as possible. A few minor mods include a PVC pole carrier, large storage box, Aux battery, inverter, solar regulator (for 160w folding panel), 3 way cig socket to the rear and a 15amp socket at the front for accessories and 12v shower. A light pole and tv antenna bracket also added as well as a 12v LED strip inside.
I have a few other mod i want to do like upgrading my jockey wheel to a blow up tyre one for the softer areas we like to camp such as on the beach.
We are really enjoying touring with it, been to uluru, Darwin, across the Gibb River Road, Cape leveque and currently taking our time down the west coast of WA.

I look forward to reading some posts and grabbing some useful info.
