The company went down a very steep hill and fell off the cliff under there current management. They were trading selling Campomatic Brand campers also and also went by the name of Challenge Campers in Rydalmere.

Carey Leghorn was the owners name. His phone number for the business was/is 0296380771, his mobile is 0411 695 004, 22 South Street Rydalmere. Email was info@trakshak.com.au

Not at that address anymore. They shared premises (and possibly management/owners) with a stage lighting company whose name escapes me right now. This business has relocated to Silverwater into I think Fariola St.

They were hopeless to deal with. From what I understand they were winding down the Trak Shak business as it had been run into the ground. When I paid for mine and waited 18 months for it to be delivered only to find all of the stainless steel parts had been substituted for grey painted mild steel, not even Gal. About five people in a similar situation came forward that had been stalled regarding delivery. Interestingly we were all told different parts were the cause of the hold up, kitchens, suspensions arms, hitches etc etc. what appeared to us to be happening was that they would take a deposit (in my case $6k) and then stall until they had enough orders to make it economical to get a shipment from China. In most cases I am aware of people we're stalled 9months to a year.

In the end we all took them to task and got deposits back etc. in my case after some effort it was a full refund of $32k.

The campers had so much potential and were a great thing until the quality was taken out of them for a few extra $$$ in the companies pocket.

That's a real pity. The original owner was a pleasure to deal with, and they were built in AU.

Seeing as I might have to buy some bits and pieces soon I gave them a call using the number on the Campomatic website.

They said they are still there at Rydalmere and its a problem with the website.

I was in the market for one of these late last year and was talking to TS via email. They claimed they had one unit ready to go but wanted $3500 to freight to WA. Luckily I found a 2013 model for sale in WA. I'm glad I didnt drop a deposit on a new one to find the company go under. Late in December the website host had a message up on their site saying the account was suspended. I found this out as when RAC went to insure mine and they went searching and couldn't find the site. So I assumed thay had gone belly up...
