I love caravan parks especially when they're full to the maximum limit!  The more people in caravan parks the better.
It gives me a better chance of snagging a prime spot in the bush for free   :cup:
Caravan parks are wonderful things! More people should use them! :cheers:

We camp in caravan parks. It started because it was a cheap holiday away for us. Plus SWMBO Likes showers and toilets :-) and we all know "happy wife, happy life"

But I will say we don't take the fridge from the kitchen. We bought an engel for the car and that what we use. The only 240v we use is lighting and phone chargers, plus the engel when we are parked. All things that can be done on 12v if I bothered to sort out batteries.

We still take the weber baby q and camp stove for cooking.  :cheers:

Caravan parks have their place. Some enjoy the amenities and facilities especially for kids. While others enjoy the remote and solitude of a camping spot by a creek or river. Regretfully some places you have no choice but to stay in caravan parks.

The good thing is that people are getting out and enjoying the outdoors no matter what their tastes.

Stayed in a CP last Christmas.  The little 14 foot pop top behind us had a wide screen TV (under the annex) that put our TV at home to shame.  They had a big 2 door fridge plus a chest freezer (old mate seemed to be chomping on an ice block constantly) plus a twin tub washing machine.  Filled their transit van to the brim when packing up.  But they had fun and were good neighbours, taking my son fishing etc.

We all do things differently and as long as it doesn't affect anybody else, what's the harm.  They were outdoors enjoying themselves.

probably do 50 / 50 bush / caravan parks - what i like about caravan parks is if you run out of booze there is always some one close by not watching their fridge / esky so the booze is free or you could be honest like me and walk to the local bottle shop as most caravan parks are located walking distance from a booze outlet

I'll take a poorly run, dirty overcrowded caravan park over work any day!

As for 240v things.  A quick search on this site will show that gensets and inverters are pretty common amongst 'bush campers'.

Who cares how you do it, just as long as you're enjoying it. :cheers:

A CP is holidaying, not camping

I like a holiday now and then, but I would rather be camping  :)
