I also don't think it would be all that good, as mentioned I don't think it would make it any easier on hard ground.
We recently went away for a week and I struck dome really hard ground and struggled with the pegs, I just could not get them in properly, luckily it wasn't windy.
When we got back I went to Bunnings and bought a Ryobi hammer drill and two 4ah batteries along with some long coach bolts. Now it will just be a matter of drilling them in and out
While I was at it, I also bought the Ryobi handy vac for the wife and the LED light for sitting at the camp table at night. The good part is they all run off the same batteries and I have the 12v charger to charge them while camping.
