How was it KB? Did you head out?

We're heading up Condamine River Gorge for Easter but that's gonna be pretty iffy if the rain doesn't ease up?

Would be keen for any intel..

Damo

Sorry but didn't get back on the 'puter yesterday arvo.  Yeah, we got out to Leslie Dam for a look.  Still several metres below the spillway.   As I said in another post, Leslie Dam's catchment is totally different to the Condamine River catchment.  The overflow from Leslie Dam goes into Sandy Creek which eventually does enter the Condie but several kilometres downstream of Warwick.

As Chippy said the Condi Gorge road is closed.  Can't see it being opened any time soon.  Great road when it's dry though.

It's beautiful here in the Central West! I get cabin fever every day being home with two little girls though. I went out in the rain the other day with them both just to buy our fish from the fish man. Looking forward to our first trip when we pick up our new camper this weekend

Did the drive from Sydney to Brisbane, went to MovieWorld (very wet but fun) then drove home again.

Quite some way to spend a weekend really.

Lawns are looking very very long, not looking forward to them drying out cause then I will have to mow them.

Another 300mm overnight last night...just about had enough of the rain.

Gotta love the tropics...

It's the exact opposite over here in SA at the moment. No rain in sight just temperatures in the mid to high 30's for the rest of the week. We've got a long weekend next weekend and am heading away for a few nights. The trip was planned earlier this year but with the weather forecast at the moment I'm not really looking forward to spending time under canvas....

Cheers,
Marc

I'd rather sunny and hot than pissing with rain and 5c!

Nope.  I've still done my fortnightly camp regardless of the weather.   :cup:  After all ... it's not like I'm a sugar baby and gonna melt is it?

Kit_e where have you been heading? We have run out of places to go this weekend, everything is closed! We love the rain, we camped all Australia Day long weekend in the floods and loved every minute... Does normally make for a quiet campground. I've got to admit though, you are brave souls camping in this weather with a soft floor!
