Well, it looks like the bloody things been sold :'( Rang the dealer today to check if it was still in, and they apparently took a deposit 1/2 an hour earlier. It is subject to finance however. I'll call again tomorrow morning just to confirm, but don't like my chances. If the finance is from the dealer then they will do anything to push it through cos they get a commission from the lender.
Bugger >:(

Thanks for the info everyone, much appreciated. While I'm at it, I do have another question re. diesels: in regards to mileage, what would be considered to be decent for a 4 year old car. I know it depends on how its been driven, and a car with 150000k's but serviced regularly will be just as good as a car with half that, but are they generally more robust than petrol engines? Having never owned a diesel before, I really don't know much about them. Any thoughts from you knowledgabe folks?

Cheers
Matt

 >:( That is a bit of a bugger but the right car will come up I am sure.  I am not the most knowledgable on this subject all I can say is we have just over 2 year old diesel with about 37000k's on the clock and it is pretty economical especially considering the last car was petrol rodeo.  I liked the rodeo but it liked the petrol too.  I am glad we went for diesel this time.  Hope you find what you looking for.

Cheers Nay, got a few more to look at, bit closer than wodonga tho! My FIL had a petrol rodeo, and that thing loved a drink too!

I guess I've always considered 15-20000k's per year as average for petrols, not sure if that relates to diesels.

Also just wanted to say a big thanks to evolution for offering to have a look at the car in wondonga. It did sell before he got to see it,  but really appreciate your help Nick :cup:

I've looked at yours a few times Jim, and everytime I do I wonder if I should sell one of the kids to make up the shortfall we need ;D
Very nice rig mate, can't believe someone hasn't picked it up yet.

You mean, you wouldn't have to pay someone to take your kids?
Wanna swap?
