Over the long weekend, we decided to blow the cobwebs of the camper trailer and spend a few days at cape Jervis. On the Monday we decided to have a look at Deep Creek national park trigg campground, 1 to have a look for a future camp and 2 to see if we could say g'day to other myswagers who were camping there.
Well we drove into the national park did a quick lap of the campground and was heading out when the park ranger pulled us over and asked for our park pass. So I explained we were camping down the road and that we just called in to see if the campgrounds were suitable to bring our camper for a future camp. Well he made us pay the park entry.
Now I can totally understand that everyone may use that as an excuse not to pay. And I certainly don't want to do the parks out of money.
But surely we have the right to check out a campground before we pay the park fees.
