Title: Aussie Swag Owners ... Roll Call.
Post by: Kit_e_kat9 on December 24, 2011, 07:07:44 PM
Just been looking at the Who Made Your CT  (http://myswag.org/forum/index.php?topic=1231.0) thread and found there are 26 31 32 34 35 members who have an Aussie Swag Camper Trailer.  Since some other CT brands are getting together a roll call, thought the AS owners could do the same.

Who are you?
Where are you?
Which one do you have?
What mods have you done?
What extra's did you opt for?
Where have you taken it lately?
How often do you use it?
Comments?

...000...000...000...000...000...000...000...000...000...000

Who are you? Kit_e aka Tracey

Where are you? Logan Shire, Queensland ... near Springwood ...

Which one do you have? Rover LX

What mods have you done? Put some more foam under the foam mattress.

What extra's did you opt for? 2nd battery, annex pack 1, mudflaps, burner plate

Where have you taken it lately? Bush camping at Fordsdale Farmstay for 3 nights.

How often do you use it? Lots!!!!  So far averaging 30 or so nights per year, but hoping for more each year.

Comments? So far we haven't found much at all that we'd change.  Thought about adding some sort of light to the battery box, but are currently using our headlamps as they handy.  Bought some folding solar panels from Jetcrew and can now stay out for quite a while without needing to plug into power, which is great.  We bought an OzPig (http://ozpig.com.au/) (which we absolutely love) and only really use the stove now in inclement weather and for pre-breakfast coffee, but it's great to know it's there when we require it.  I use the jerry can holders as rubbish bins when they aren't in use (we now have JerryCanBins ... many thanks to DB for the idea) ... 1 for recycling and 1 for general refuse.  We've lost a couple of poles rubber "feet" so I'm hoping they are somewhere within the pole holder, because we always do the 'camp check' before we go and haven't found them.  We found that the front flap (over the fridge/kitchen boxes) always pulled towards the  main awning (we don't use the offside awning much), and now we have a second rope on the (awning side) pole which we tie off onto the kitchen rack (drivers side).

We are so happy with our AS and think it's our best buy ever.  Many Thanks to the Most Excellent AS Team at Brendale for making such a wonderful camper!

Comments: Aussie Swag is the Bentley of camper trailers - all class, not overly common, built with absolute precision, and the envy of those that know what they are.

Well that's 3 of us.  "Hello" to you both ... now ... another 23 27 28 29 to go!  It's great to see the photo's too, so I'll go back and add one to my reply.  Great to know that their are other very happy AS owners out there who Love to use their CT when they can.

I met a fellow at TJM last week who had a very, very old one, which they had modified so much that it didn't look like an AS anymore, but what he'd done was amazing!  Extended draw bar to put the kids motorbikes on with a roof top tent for the kids above it, then the regular camper for mum and dad.  Completely checker plated all over which looked fantastic in the photo he showed me.  He still called it an AS and he was happy with the original bits ... canvas etc still doing well after so many years.

Who are you? Bill and Morag
Where are you? Edmonton, Qld
Which one do you have? 2002 Classic
What mods have you done? None yet. But I picked up an electric water pump, C tec battery charger and a Waco 500 watt inverter  yesterday. I also have a bit of gear from the internet coming so mods will begin soon. Next week I will hopefully be getting some real tyres put on it.
What extra's did you opt for? We purchased it used but previous owner opted for the annex walls, flyscreens, 120 litre water tank and deep cycle battery.
Where have you taken it lately? Woodleigh Station for the FNQ Christmas trip.
How often do you use it? Only once, but we have only had it a month. We have a trip planned for March and one for Easter long weekend.
Comments? It was a bit of a culture shock going from a soft floor that I had setup 100% the way we wanted it to a bare bones c/t that needs all the mods. At one point I was ready to sell it on and keep the soft floor. But I convinced myself that once I finish the mods I know I will be happy with it...

Hi Bill & Morag,

Glad to hear that your 2002 has had a workout and will be tripping again in the not too distant future.  I am sure that once you've mod'd to your hearts content you'll have the camper you always wanted.  I understand the culture shock completely ... my last camping experience was with a tent before we go our AS.  Any photo's from the trip?

Post by: TC Cocky on January 26, 2012, 07:06:11 PM
Who are you? TC Cocky (Julian)
Where are you? Moora WA
Which one? 2001 Rover Ultra
What Mods? The only thing i have done to date (have had the camper 4 years) is to put rinbolts into the stone guard to bungee the front window flap out to for overnighters. It saves putting up any poles or pegs. When next in Perth will pick up a spreader bar to suit to strengthen the flap ofr windy conditions. Before our next bush camping trip have plans to add a second tap for hand washing behiind the fridgebox.
What extras? We bought it 2nd hand and it had full annex and offside awning, lecy brakes, 65w solar panel plus all the usuals, 60ltr water tank, battery and charger, independent suspension etc.
Where have we taken it lately? Nowhere!!  :'( A very long harvest this year meant no quick trips out the coast this summer. Last trip was 10 days out east to Coolgardie. But we are heading off in 11 sleeps for a fortnight down at Augusta!!
Comments. We started looking around for campers and were very lucky to buy our swag off some friends of SWMBO's family at a very reasonable price. Ummed and Aahed about possible upgrades but in all honesty its in great nick and has just about everything we want. Have tried to find a kids room to suit as this is the only drawback. With our second bub due in april our floorspace will be pretty cramped  when we overnight out bush. But its really only a short term(5-8yrs) until the kids either stop coming!! or they grow big enough to turf out in swags or bunks!! >:D All our mates have either tents or soft floors and they always want us to set it up when they come out for dinner so they can have a quick butchers at it in action. It should do us without too many mods at all for the foreseeable future. (barring a lotto win or wheat going to $500 a tonne and wool to 2000c greasy!!

Hi Julian,

Nice to hear of another happy AS owner!  Congrats on the soon to appear addition to your family.  It sounds like you are working hard to earn your living and I for one appreciate a farming family!  I hope the prices go your way.  Sorry to hear you haven't been out camping as much as you'd like, but reckon you'll appreciate that holiday in 11 sleeps very much.

I think it's wonderful to hear that the older ones have been kept in top condition.  It not only shows the dedication and quality (read: love) that's gone into their build but also the love their owners have shown them.

Sorry to confuse you Speewa ... I might adjust the heading to have some brackets ... but feel free to drop by with a refreshing ale any time you like.   ;D

Hello Alex & Jill,

Nice to hear from you.  I can see your photo so all is good!   ;D  Love the additions to give you more undercover area.  Top idea!  We've been using a tarp to cover the fridge box in sunny/rainy weather from the awning to the stone guard, but I like your idea better.  Good to hear that you are using it every chance you get ... so do we.

Who, Ken & Rosemary.

Where, Murrumba Downs Qld. [10mins from AussieSwag factory]

Which one, Ultra E.

No need for mods yet.

Extras, Annex pack 2

Last trip, Elanda Point.

Try to do one trip a month.

This is my second Aussie swag camper having owned a earlier model Rover Ultra then a caravan, I find the current model ticks all the boxes I felt the earlier Rover lacked, fridge access, lighting, power supply etc all has been refined to be much more user friendly. So far very happy with the camper and service from the Aussie Swag factory.

Hi Digga (Ken & Rosemary),

Nice to hear from yet another AS owner.  So glad to hear that you try for once per month to exercise your suspension and check your canvas.  There are some excellent camping spots a short drive north of Brisbane!

I notice so far, most have gone for the Ultra's ... do you think it was the "everything you need right at your fingertips" convenience of the Ultra that made you choose it over the other models?

Hi AS owners,
I don't have one of these but I do have a connection. My old man did the canvas work on those trailers for several years and possibly either of my parents sold you yours if you bought it at a camping show on their many trips through east and southern states. Warren and Deborah are their names. Would be interesting to know if anyone here actually met them and what they think of the old boys work. I believe he was one of the last to actually be accredited with a canvas machinist trade and he's been on the machines for a good 35-40 years now. Anyway, sorry for jumping this one.

Cheers

Tigga

Hi Kit_e, we decided on the ultra because they are built locally to us, we both like the kitchen, build quality, an awning that covers both sides, everthing has a place and is easy to get to, you don't have to go out and buy other bits and pieces and then find somewhere to put them, eg solar panel, generator, HWS, decent electrics as standard, the easiest hard floorcamper to fold with awnings attached. We did look at other camper trailers, but kept coming back to the A/Swag. At the end of the day you buy what you want and will be happy with.

Happy Trails Digga.

Who are you -    Janet and Brett
Where are you - Perth WA
Which one -       Rover LX 2012
Which Mods - Turned the space under the grill into a cutlery draw,
Had a mount for the porta potty placed on the draw bar,
Swapped the large fridge compartment to the back and small to the
                     front.
Which extras - Annex pack 2, Mudflaps, Michey Thompson tyres to match
                      the land-cruiser, Large storage bag.

Waiting not so patiently for the arrival of our new ASC. Placed an order in December 2011 and now only 3 weeks to go. Previously we had a soft floor custom made camper, larger enough for our family of 5, but now just being the 2 of us we want simple and quick set up. The ASC ticked all the boxes.
We always have our fridge in the land-cruiser so swapped the rear box (small with a shelf) to the front, we will use this for a pantry, and the large box is now at the rear ( used for storage).  We also changed the position of the Annex door to the right, so it sits in front of the camper door.
We have traveled all over Australia over the last 15 year, but still haven't seen it all.
Cant wait to get  our ASC, first trip away from the cold and up to Coral Bay for a bit of fishing.

Hey Tigga,

It's quality work no matter who does it.  Built to last.  I'd love to be able to sew (even canvas).  Could do some extra bits here and there that I'm after rather than pay a premium for someone else to do it for me.

Hi Janet & Brett,

My Rover is roughly 2 years younger than yours give or take.  You are going to love it ... everyone who buys one does!  It's going to be the longest wait nearing the end even if you thought the months previous were.   We are also looking at options mounting the porta potty on the drawbar.  I'd be interested to see some photo's of how you did it.  I love the idea of converting the under grill base section into a cutlery draw ... I'll have to see photo's of that as well you know!!  We've been storing tea towels and other assorted stuff under there, but I always worry about fire so close to fabrics.  Cutlery sounds like a perfect solution!

Hi Kit_e
Oh the time is just dragging by.  I have gone through all our camp gear, and bought some new stuff, but i go to bed most nights thinking were to put things, and do i have everything i need.  ASC have e-mailed us some photos but not of the completed job yet.  How do you post a photo from my PC hardrive.?

We had the draw under the stove as we dont use a grill much, even at home.
Cant wait for a photo of that.  Yes we put the toilet on the draw bar as its to heavy for us to put up and down on-top of the trailer (oh and what if it spilled  on you when you lifted it down, yuk)

AOC hasn't given us an exact date yet, but an approximate 3 weeks, then it has to be transported over from QLD to Perth, (not sure how long that is)

Will put photos up when i work it out.

How did I miss this one  ???

Who are you? Tammy and Jeff
Where are you? Wattle Grove (NSW) and Kurri Kurri (NSW)
Which one do you have? 2011 Ultra G
What mods have you done? Jeff recently made new telescopic feet for when the hard floor is too far from the ground (no need for extra pieces of wood under them now).
What extra's did you opt for? Annex Pack 2, DO23 Hitch, 17inch rims and tyres, innerspring mattress, 85lt Evacool Fridge/Freezer, kitchen box bag
Where have you taken it lately? Chichester State Forest (NSW)
How often do you use it? Try to use it at least monthly for a 2 night trip (my RDO)
Comments? Don't think I can add anything that hasn't already been said.  We went for the Ultra as it had everything that i would have wanted anyway (hot water, shower room, solar) plus a great setup, what more could you ask for  :cup:

Hey J&B,

Once the photos are on your hard-drive, down below the posting box (where the typing goes), there are the words "Additional Options", click on this and the photo posting boxes come up "Attach:".  Use the "browse" to go to where you have your photos stored and choose one.  If you wish to put more in then, choose "(more attachments) below that and keep going.  Rules are:  Allowed file types: gif, jpg, mpg, pdf, png
Restrictions: 5 per post, maximum total size 2000KB, maximum individual size 500KB as shown below all of that.

It's easier if your photos are "small" size wise ... say 600 x 480 (or so).  You can get them like this by adding them to an email, and then choosing to save them.  ALWAYS SAVE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE to the original.

Alternately, if you are hosting them somewhere like PhotoBucket (or similar) you can add those it, but it's a little more complicated if you are a computer forum newbie!

PM me if you need more help as I'd love to see your photos.

Dunno!   ;D

That front wall looks great!  We didn't get that, but one day ... maybe.   Nice to hear you are trying to use it often.   We are out each fortnight for an overnighter and love long weekends when we can get them.

How do you find the inner spring mattress?

Love the idea of longer legs for the hard floor.  BF was thinking of something similar, but timber it is for now ... he's a chippy so short lengths are easy to come by.  Although on occassion we've had to dig the front legs and bar work in (those closer to the tyres when down).

We have looked at many photos of the ASC but none have shown us whats inside the box on the driver side (the back of the kitchen)

Just curious how much space is in there, i presume its there so you can access the kitchen gas and water. would love a photo if anyone has one.

Also would you be able to put a photo of the extendable legs up that sound a great idea.  We had a softfloor for many years, could put it up anywhere, even if it was on a slope(not the most comfortable but it could be done).  Our friends have a hardfloor similar to the ASC but are finding they have to have reasonable flat ground or put wood blocks under it.

Thanks Kit_e for the info on how to post photos, will put more up when i get them

Do you know what that rectangular tray on the drawbar is going to be used for?

Regarding the photo you wanted - is this where you mean?  The top part is the back of the pantry and the bottom part is the back of the kitchen where you can store some extra things.

Thanks for the prompt reply's,
JK we are having a porta potty placed on the draw bar, it sits inside the rectangular tray and i guess its strapped down? didn't want it on top of the camper or inside the car.  Use the bush most times, but in WA more and more sites require you to have a portable toilet or no entry.
Thanks for the photo, yes that box, often wondered what was inside it.

Thanks tjwrexy for the photo of the legs, i dont know what our new camper will have but these seem like a great idea.

Still waiting for a delivery date of our new camper.  Will put up new photos as i get them

Hi JandB Oz,

We also have the porta potti on the drawbar (before they changed the design for the hot water on the drawbar), also got the bag made recently for porta potti and recommend this, amazing the amount of dirt that gets flung onto it.  Can't wait to see your new AS.

Hi JK and tjwrexy

I spoke to the guys at Aussie swag about putting a draw under the grill for cutlery, and they said they could do that for me.  I have taken a leap of faith, i have no idea how or what it looks like yet.  They will send me a photo when its complete.
Just seemed the logical place to put the cutlery.

tjwrexy did Aussie Swag make the bag for you or did you get one from a camping store.  I agree it will probably get lots of mud and dust over it.

Another couple of question for all AS owners, how do you find the mattress, hard or soft?
We are having the inner spring with the new camper. Can you fit a mattress topper on top to soften it if its to hard.
Also can you place a table and 2 chairs on-top of the bed when its closed up.

Thanks J & B

We have the foam mattress and found it a little bit comfort lacking, so I've added another 50mm slab of foam beneath it.  Having had back surgery before I reached 40 doesn't help I suppose.  Yes you could fit a mattress topper on the mattress if you wished ... as far as I'm aware, but keep in mind that if you are keeping blankets on the bed (we have a Minkie on it at all times), this will also take up available space.  We also remove our pillows when it's closed ... we don't have designated CT pillows.  They go into the under bed draw with our clothes (in Kathmandu cases) and the other walls & offside awning (annex pack 1).

We have a suitcase style table and two folding stools on the bed when closed at all times.  That's where they live whilst travelling.  Our folding chairs are too large for the area, so they go in the dual cab of the ute.

Stools are the silver ones on the LHS and table shown centre.

Check here for specifics on each.  Table (http://www.downundercamping.com.au/product.php?productid=18911&cat=526&page=1) (ours without the "cupboard") / Stools (http://www.downundercamping.com.au/product.php?productid=17264&cat=518&page=1)  These are our camp chairs (http://www.downundercamping.com.au/product.php?productid=17690&cat=518&page=1).

We too have the foam mattress and I find it fine.  We do have a high gsm woollen underblanket on and that certainly helps too.

We have our bed made up with a thick woollen doona, then put the boys beds (http://myswag.org/forum/index.php?topic=20900.0 (http://myswag.org/forum/index.php?topic=20900.0)) on top which are quite thick, then close it up with the main awning (only) still attached.  Our pillows go in the Pajero.

Hi,

AS made the porta potti bag for us and inner spring fantastic.  I have also put a sheepskin underlay on top if the mattress year round and with bedding unable to fit table and chairs (we also usually leave both awnings on when closing).  We now put our chairs on the top of the camper and no longer take a table.

Im really hoping we can get the chairs and table on top of the bed, along with the Donna and blankets, as i have designated every thing to a spot already.

Well kit_e, I think you and John have convinced me to go the AS Rover. I could buy the Ultra but I think it will spend too much time in the carport. I dont need showers or heating but it is a nice little luxury. I will probably get Annexe 1 and the extra battery. I would like to go a different charger but we'll see. I am meeting John at the Keisurefest in melbourne when he picks up his new Ultra. Cant wait till August. Might get a special deal.

It's a :cup: choice in this thread!

We had similar choices as yourself ... compared the top 3 nut for nut, screw for screw, bolt for bolt ... and it sold itself to us.

Rover's (that's our Rovers name) extra's include:  second batteries, annexe pack 1, mudflaps on the stone guard, DO35  and we also got a rectangular grill plate that goes over the stove perfectly ... but we mostly use that on the OzPig now ... and a fridge slide.  We don't often use the offside awning, but it's great for rainy and longer stays.

Like John says, once seen, they are very hard to forget pass by.

Hi All, well its arrived, we were so excited couldn't sleep the night before.
Yes the cutlery draw is under the grill, but we don't use the grill very often, but if we did want to use it we just remove the draw for the 10 mins we need to use the grill then we can put it back.
Its every thing we wanted and we even slept in it last night, inner spring mattress very comfy. Haven t got the room in the garage to set it all up, so waiting for a clear weekend so we can practice putting the annex up.
Just want to say ASC staff were a pleasure to deal with no problem to much to
for them.
Now we are planning a trip as soon as hubbie can get some leave.

I use that area to put things like:  Pegs / mozzie coils / tea towels etc.  Used to have our first aid kit and LED light in there, but we now have an area along the fridge to put these things and I've also got my cling, alfoil and baking paper in it.  He's got a 65L Evakool and it doesn't fit the fridge slide perfectly, so he's made up a "stand" for it so it doesn't slip around in there and now put a "shelf" along the kitchen side, where all this stuff now lives.

Who are you? Garth
Where are you? Hervey Bay
Which one do you have? 2003 Rover
What mods have you done? Nothing yet only just bought it second hand in june. But plans are; move the gas bottles and jerry holder forward and add a largish tool box on front then an electrical upgrade and plumbing upgrades to sink.
What extra's did you opt for? It came with large and small awnings, front and rear walls plus infill over kitchen box and previous owner made extended awning of the main and draft skirt.
Where have you taken it lately? Imbil
How often do you use it? only been out with it twice thus far, but looking at a trip at least every 4-6weeks
Comments? Absolutly love the AS with its independant suspension and easy set up with a brilliant kitchen.

Hey wyno,

Glad I could assist ... that's not an overly long wait ... I waited 5 months!  Don't worry though ... It'll be over in no time.   :cup:  Guess we'll have to wait a bit for photos too.

Hey Muckinhell,

Love the Rover!  Ours is called ... Rover  ;D  Great pic of you getting it out there.

Seems we have the same table.  I keep mine on the bed when it's all closed up.  We are seriously considering changing the front rack around as well.  We'd like to fit our porta loo on there and turn the jerry holders north - south rather than east - west.  We are wanting to have it in exactly the same spot so hoping we don't have to adjust the stone guard too much (the ute gives us a smaller turning circle before connecting with the stone guard than a regular vehicle might).  The BF is also making up a checkerplate / aluminium outside "step" next to the hardfloor, which means we can dump the wood blocks we currently use.

So that's now 11 of the 35 owners accounted for!

We'll spend a few days in Byron before coming home as Hannah will be starting 1st grade. Hopefully we can catch up Kit_e.

Hi ---- newish to the forum.   We collected our new Ultra G in June 2012 and love it.   No special mods -- 3 batteries, one solar panel, a gennie and an innerspring mattress.   We have not done any "tuff stuff" yet want to.  We find it comfortable, easy to tow easy to set up and we are eagerly planning a BIG TRIP and very sorry to hear that Mc Ginn is not doing any trips for a long while.   We are an " older couple" who want comfort and ease of towing.  Also love this forum ---thanks everyone.   Mrs Shoey

Hello all,
Im looking at the Ultra D.
Quick question, how does everyone go for fitting in a couple of Kids. I have two little ones 2 and 5 (@ 125cms tall) and was thinking a couple of swags on the floor or bunks but dont want the hassle of storage/ setting up bunks all the time.
Is a kids room available to erect off the end of the floor?
Thankyou for your replies.
Regards
Angus.

Hey Diesel,

Yes, you can buy a "kids room" that come off of the hard floor.  It's an option that you can invest in if you like.
End Option:

Side Option:

I believe a lot of parents use fold up or bunk beds depending on the kids and their age.   If old enough, they can have swags on the hardfloor, outside under the stars or under the awning.  You can also throw the swags (unfolded) up on the bed for easy storage mid trip.  I know JKohn has these for his boys and he could give you some more info on those.

We fitted his Kid on the hard floor no issue (could have fitted 3 of him there).  Keep in mind the Kid is 18 and nearly 6'.  He seemed quite happy there for a few nights as his tent got rained out.

Our hardfloor fits 3 medium dogs (30kg+) and their XL beds on it every night.

We only put our kids room up if staying in the same place for 3 nights or more.

Otherwise they sleep on the floor in these: http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=20900.0 (http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=20900.0)

They are happy - they are plenty comfortable and warm for them.  In the mornings we just put one on top of the other to give us a bit of extra floor space during the day.  However the extra space of the kids room is gold when we do put it up!

P.S.  Rover just turned 3!  Of course, we were camping when it happened.  We Love Rover just as much as we did when we picked it up new ... doesn't look as shiny any more ... but we really don't care ... as long as we are out there and doing it.

Don't think I have any photos of the inside of the pantry since we bought it.  Of course you get a cutlery draw with the camper and we removed the top section of it (it was rather annoying).  All our utensils live in front of the cutlery insert, I have a collapsible tupperware container beneath it (those too are rather annoying).  My spice rack is homemade and a few people have commented on it as "a bloody good idea" ... see below.

After visiting a CTA meet for happy hour, I discovered an idea that I really like ... however it isn't very space saving in the long run, but it works well.  Grab some foam (like the mattress stuff), cut out sections of it to suit particular things you always carry (wine glasses / coffee mugs / salt / pepper / etc) and install into the kitchen area.  Add items as required.  We did this using only a small portion and find it keeps things from breaking / moving.  It's always where it is supposed to be.  Other than that, just pack it as best you can, as everyone uses different ingredients and has different tastes.

We also store thing such as paper towel / toilet paper / canned goods in the wheel wells inside the camper as you don't tend to use these everyday (keep out what you do use everyday).

There is also a small area to store pantry goods above the poles and below the bed.  Anything in boxes would be great here:  biscuits / gravy / cake mixes, etc.  Small "under bed" storage boxes can be used on the bed itself - just keep in mind what height will be your maximum to keep the lid closed with bedding etc.  There is also the ability to store things under / around the fridge slide, underneath the grill, or if you don't use the grill at all then utilise that area for storage.

We keep our 4 saucepans and a mixing bowl in the sink when not in use.  The bowl catches any drips from the tap should there be any.  All our plates and dish drainer are under the sink.  The dish drainer also holds all the dish paraphernalia - including tea towel.    There is an area behind the sink outlet under the sink that can be utilised as well.

You just need to be creative with the area you have available and the products you wish to take with you.  Always put things you use alot towards the front for easier access.

I also recommend you get some more of the 'floor carpet' to line the boxes, pantry, etc with as this will assist to stop things moving around and also stop things damaging the surfaces (painted or not).

As we mostly do overnighters and empty anything out that isn't necessary in the panty (staples stay there unless needing a refill), I doubt a photo of ours would be much help to those wanting to do long trips.

thanks Kit_e, some good ideas there.
the main issue is working around the height issue for the sliding cuttlery tray and the sliding top. Just trying to find a better option as food seems to get stored toward the rear of the drawer making it hard to reach sometimes.
Thanks, might look at the plates and bowls to go under sink.

Here is how we do the plates.  Please note the clear box is now a 'caravan' dish drainer with lid.  They retail for around $20.  Between each plate is a small strip of "non stick/slip" stuff like what they used on the stove top when you purchased.  Our plates are Corelle although they still supply the pottery cups so they are in the foam in the pantry.  We also keep in this section:  bags (both garbage and food), rubber gloves, gas lighter ... just to name a few things.

After lost of research, comparing & visiting shows, we only wanted Aussie Swag. We found a second hand in mid-2014 and purchased it. It was a well used 2007 model that, we reckon, has not been washed and kept clean for a while. Although it did have the 'badge' of red dirt stains, we attempted to clean it up as best as we could. We did not want someone else's badge, but would rather create our own! After a lot of nights of cleaning, basic general maintenance and a few trial runs, we're ready to use it!

Who are you? Just call us J. and S. (we're paranoid disclosing too much information)
Where are you? Brisbane region
Which one do you have? 2007 Ultra-E
What mods have you done? Created my own 3x1m LED light bars, many more mods are planned.
What extra's did you opt for? Bought second hand and came with full annex pack
Where have you taken it lately? Mains Range NP
How often do you use it?
Comments?
