for all you melbournians - try ballarat...

apparent temperature is currently -2C.

today is has rained, sleeted, hailed, snowed and been sunny.

I walked into one building and the sky was fully blue. 10 minutes later it was sleeting with no blue left...

Hope they find that guy up around Tomahawk Hut but it doesn't sound good.

Not happy with the cold here in Mansfield at the moment, the beer taps have frozen on the bar in the shed and I can't pour beer  >:(

At least it should knock a few mice down though.

Anyone coming up Mansfield way for the long weekend?

Define Bad >:D.

Wet season is not too bad. You have rain inthe afternoon to cool things down. Now the build up is adifferent matter.  If you don't mind been wet 24 hours aday and changing your clothes every time you go to do something because of the sweat it's not so bad. It's not called the crazy season for nothing.  :o

Well I did have a drive up into the snow. I have been up on the search for the missing deer hunter at tomahawk hut near Mt Striling. The picture is  Mount No3 Hut yesterday morning.
On the way home there was snow down to the Mt Buller gate and also on the black spur.
Hard work walking in the snow and scrub but we were working with some great people which made it better.
