I'm looking at 2 sizes so far - Air tight , dust tight and water tight - not sure about lockable yet .

Medium size range - -- External dims - walls are 35mm thick

580*410*350
840*430*430

Large size range - external dims - walls are 38mm thick approx..

1090*690*510
1200*800*600 - Might be a bit too big ??

When I get prices I'll let you know if its a goer or not ..

Checked out our Bunnings yesterday on the way home. All they had were the big ones (900x500???) for around the $200, and some REALLY HUGE ones that were on a pallet outside ($270-ish?).

They were labelled "Cargo Cases", but they're still not showing up on the Bunnings website.  The guy I spoke to on the service desk didn't really know anything about them, other than the smaller ones were over there, and the bigger ones were outside. Which is a shame - I thought that a couple of the same size as Mandrake's above would be good as food boxes in the camper.

Ahh well - I'll have a look for them each time we're in there - they might just get random stock sent to them.

Cheers,
Matto :)

Putting that on my wish list, as I wouldn't mind one for my kitchen gear. The canvas bag I currently use is a pain in the proverbial.

Which Bunnings Matto?  Smithfield usually have a fair range of sizes down near the trade desk.

T'was Bunnings Southside. I was going to take a drive out to Smithfield to see what they had on the weekend. Looks like it might be worth the drive then.

When you getns say "a fair range" - are we talking two or three different sizes, or a dozen?

I can see Saturday being an expensive day :(

Must be different over east.
I've never seen anyone in my local SCA working,  let alone slaving .....!
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....
