Li-ion battery disposal
« on: May 08, 2020, 09:17:51 AM »
I've got an Hitachi battery drill that I've had for years and one of the batteries has died. Anyone know where I can dispose of safely? Prefer not to just bin it.
Cheers, John.

Joints like officeworks have bins for batteries and printer cartridges etc. I'd be inclined to check them out.

Those places only take AA, AAA, C, D, 9v, Laptop and Phone batteries.
Cheers, John.

The Council run tips/waste transfer stations here on the GC have spots for batteries, maybe check with your local one.
