Episode of the show im watching now has ceilings falling down with light fittings lying on the floor with water flowing over it, sparks and fire in the light fitting as if someone's in there with a welder. And the sparks keep on flying, and flying, and flying. Now its a medical show from another country. Daughter is an ICU nurse but done stints in emergency. She always has issues with tv shows and the inaccuracy of what actually happens in some cases, be it another hospital in another country. Now I have to say something. A florescent light fitting falling from the ceiling and sitting on the floor might or might not have enough loose cable or break cable fixings to reach the floor, but will give it a possible. A glowing orange colour from inside that light fitting is more likely a WTF. Now sparks that you can relate to a welder, on a lighting circuit, I have to call BS. Then maybe their regulations allow such things, not likely at all. Protection device should have tripped on the first arc, not allow it to go on and on till the dude turned off the supply generator the the building after making his way there. OK, OK, it's a tv series, it's called dramatising the scene. I never knew I was such a critic until now. Daughter must be rubbing off on me.
