For the Ultimate Camper owners.  Popped up my facebook feed.

Might be handy for some, they say it can be retro fitted for older campers.

Pass. Love to see the work around if it fails in the Boonies somewhere.

I understand where they are coming from, older, physically challenged clientele and all that, but I'm not in that boat yet. When that happens it will be a hybrid.

No doubt, it will come with an ultimate price tag to boot!

Yeah one of those things.  Electrics are great when they are working right.  Be a real bugger is it locked and refused to open or close.  Set to it with the spanner to unbolt it.

It would be interesting to see how they have designed it in regards too having it have to change direction half way through, thought about doing similar with a my boat loader but the direction change adds to the complexity, would like too see it close back up.

I'm not opposed to depending on electronics if they are done well, you are already depending on them to get you there and back again with your vehicle.

Given how much dust ends up on the back of the Ulti I’d be concerned about how well sealed the unit is from dust ingress - also interested to find out how well it copes over time with the vibration from heavily corrugated roads.
