Australian Direct 4WD outdoor (Kickass) have them on special for the 23/11/17. Sorry bit late.

First 200 buyers get them for $16.00 ea.
Came with Anderson Plugs on short leads at each end.

Not the first time they've been offered at this or similar price.
And if you want one now it's $36.00

And it looks so similar it's almost plagiarism.

last one I bought from ebay was $16.50 - bare cable ends. Search for GT power meter.

ABR Sidewinder must have had a special batch made, and it would have been very useful (had it worked). Not cheap IMO at $50 delivered. That one had a time unit on the display - very handy to see fridge compressor on time. Problem being, it would throw a spazzy and freeze up showing my fridge was consuming 215 Amps. I wont go into the customer service side of things except to say Derrick wasn't very Bester when I tried to make a claim on it  >:D It soured future business prospects for me.

I went to hell and back with derek trying to get a refund on a dcdc charger that got so hot the display wouldn't work and i was in fear of it burning the camper to the ground with the family in it. Never again. I should have followed up the matter for the sake of others. The product was downright dangerous.

Someone put me on to these car drying towels from Kmart. $5.50 a pop. Not much to lose if they were Shit. Well bugger me if they aren't the cats meow. I'll never use a chamois again. I used three of them to do the Pajero this morning. So much quicker and less marks than my AION chamois.
Cheers, Mike.

I am yet to see a folding blanket with legs. I don't want to have my car sitting in the sun and used as the legs. We used the original flooding panels with legs to get the best capacity out of them facing the sun at the correct angle yet all manufacturers say use your car, hang them in a tree or lay them flat on the ground. How can they produce the power they advertise when they are not facing the sun on the correct angle or am I missing something. ???

not sure about the angle, but i am pretty sure the projecta branded folding blankets have legs in-built...

don't know about these ones, in regards to included legs... was just posting because there had been a bit of discussion about the pricing of these blankets lately...

Mark, your right, they can't.
They have to be as close as possible to square on at the 'Sun when being used.
It's obvious when you check the power from the panels.
And yes, you did leave a bit of wriggle room in your statement about the legs/props.

I have generally been throwing mine up on the camper annexe roof with a couple of extra spreader bar's to hold them in place, haven't really camped in to many shady spots yet where this hasn't worked, but when I have, I have just laid them on the ground and got pretty good results from them, I guess the tradeoff is you can easily carry much more capacity for a lower volume/weight so you might not need to squeeze every possible amp out of them to keep up.

I have thought about fabbing up a quick and easy frame to be able to stand it up but due to the ability of my 150w solar blanket to keep up so far without it, it hasn't got anywhere near the top of my list.

This one also seems to be a good buy, but I have no experience of them:

Wow those Kickass prices are eye watering, but it does seem to be good stuff.

Have a look here regarding the 4wdsupacentre ones, they certainly look to be at least promising at the $289 "sale" price.
