We gave the Caddy a run to the Sunshine Coast today.
The idea, was to go to the "Cars and Coffee" at the old Etta Pub, then swing by and surprise F.S.Shane at home, but I forgot to put in the stuff I needed to drop off to him, so no surprise was happening there today.
Here is a heap of pics from "Cars and Coffee" Pretty cool turnout, with free coffee and patti cakes. Its run by Poison Kandy Klothing and its run from 8am to10am on the first Sunday of every month.
I might add here too, all the cars were "Drivers", no show ponies, just cool old cars and their owners having a good time.
THIS 57 WAS VERY COOL.
GEEZ, THE HOT ROD IS A BIT SHORT.
THIS WAS A GREAT LOOKING 32.
MRS JEEPERS AND THE CADDY, BOTH LOOKING VERY STYLISH.
$27,000 WOULD BUY THE 64 T.BIRD.
THIS 64 C10 WAS VERY NICE ALSO. I'D HAVE IT.
We headed off to Palmwoods and set ourselves up at a café next to Rick's Diner for a toasted cheese sanger and a milkshake.
I said to the ol girl, glad we were the only Caddy there.
Just then, a 69 Coupe DeVille pulled up behind our 64, so a photo op couldn't be knocked back.
After that, we headed off through Nambour, the Bruce Hwy before jumping off and going via the Mary Valley Road.
Great day, lots of cool cars in the Queensland sunshine.
