Ezytrail Tarwin
« on: July 04, 2016, 07:32:31 PM »
Hi Everyone

I have had advice to avoid GIC/Black Campers but what are everyone's thoughts on Ezytrail. I have found a tarwin that might just hit all our needs. Just dont want to buy something that is widely regarded as a lemon.

I've ordered a black series Patron. I've heard the bad stories but they seem to be mostly customer service issues, not really quality issues.

I have the advantage of working around the corner and being familiar with a GIC warranty agent. I'm also only a couple of minutes from their brisbane showroom and I'm not scared of busting their chops if required!

Fingers crossed.

Checked one out at the Bainsdale show last year and wasn't real impressed with it. It seemed to be falling apart. The salesman said " what do you expect, it's been in 5 or 6 shows with everybody playing with it". If that is the case, it doesn't seem to bode well for its longevity. We ended up with the Eagle Apache rear fold and have happy travels so far. It fell in the same price range. So does the Scamper which also seems to be pretty good value for money.

Sorry mate, didn't read the post propper. Just checked out the Tarwin and found it is a soft floor. Not sure about them as we were checking out the hard floors.
