Times have changed and so has the price of gold. Mine is 9ct gold and cost $18 in 1974. In a drawer somewhere. Not been required since 2004. Might be worth $50 now.

Just to shut this thread down..................Well a couple of weeks after losing it I saw a lady on the beach with a detector, she was a professional with a waterproof / submersible detector.I told her about where I lost it and she told me if she finds it she charges $150.......I get an email about 7.00pm that night saying she had found it and will drive it up from her house at Twin Waters tomorrow morning.Hows that for luck!
