I can speak from experience.
I install approximately 1000 per month in new and existing homes.
If you have bad lights and some freebies would help then go for it, but If you have decent lights and don't want problems, consult a sparkdoctor or someone who knows what they are talking about.
I have been to so many homes to repair, fix or change lighting from these "free" services.
If it sounds to good to be true it generally is.
For those of you who do want some really good cost effective lights, try the "SAL" range of led's.
They are well priced, AUS approved and very reliable.
Good colour rendition, good beam angle and come wtih flex and plug for easy change over.
Replacement globes are never gpoing to be as good, but work if budget is tight.
