I did read an article in another forum/paper (cannot remember where), where Toyota advised they will build the Tundra in RHD if 30,000 are ordered.......

Otherwise, no.....

Spotted this a few years ago at my local shops. Got talking to the owners and he reckoned it drove better than any car he has owned

He would say that ...

Not many people will spend $100k plus on a car and tell strangers that it was a piece of crap.

Been in a few including 150's silverado 1500, and a Denali 2500 a few times which is the flash silverado.

They arent sh1+ To drive
There furnished like your lounge room probably better
They have every conceivable option including prewire (with a plug) for a teshonka brake controller
They don't feel big until you try and park them
They tow like you won't belive (power and stability)
The 6.6 Duramax has diesel grunt like you won't belive existed (this from a 200 driver)
The fuel consumption in both the 5 or 6 litre petrol and the 6.6 Duramax will impress you.
And there darn well built and about usd$55k to buy.

But there a nightmare here in the carparks and shopping centres (which is a plus to me)
And could see too many getting through the high country tracks
Here for a good time, not a long time!

And in Australia they will probably be over twice that

They have. There'so one in my car park at work right now. It's about 10 or so years old and is less of a vehicle than the two 90's model Chevs we have.
IMHO, Dodge would want to have lifted their game by about 400% from this thing that's here, or they won't stand a chance long term here.

Giant American Great Wall IMO.
With enough horse power, sheer ignorance and a total lack of respect for your vehicle, you'll get through....

yup they have. The difference being they can now be imported in an unlimited number. Currently the conversion specialists can only import 100 a year.

i saw a Tundra at a servo i was refueling at on the way home from Tassie, i was surprised at how big they are....they definately are much much bigger then the dual cab utes we are used to having here.

I have driven a Tundra a couple of times, one of my clients owns one.. they are an awesome beast just a pity they do not do a Diesel, heaps of power and Sooooo comfy to drive, Yes they are big but not as big as the Ram of the Silvarado though
