Is Black Widow manufacturing any of the Ironman draw systems?
If not who's manufacturing the Ironman brand at this time.
Lets cut with the smoke and mirrors hey……………make it clear!

i thought it was pretty clear what Matt said??

We are in the middle of re-developing our drawer solutions at the moment. Supply is still available of our existing drawer systems, though there are some that we don't have in large quantities... :P

From what I heard they have been in trouble since June last year, something to do with the TJM franchise they put in up there. Sad tho they made a good product

Hmmm maybe they should not have bought and decked out all those new Fourbies that get around my area. Great product and disappointing they have a great setup there in gisborne. Maybe we could do a Myswag buyout?? :)

I believe they took over or opened Bendigo TJM, and it went downhill from there wanting to be sole suppliers for the whole chain AU wide...

No mate, they had a tjm outlet on their factory premises in Gisborne. It moved out of there to Sunbury

So after reading these subliminal posts by the ironman politician, its now very clear;
Ironman draw systems will (if not already) be made in Asian Town.

l was making enquiries about some draws for the Paj , to get a price comparison l contacted a dealer . l asked about Black Widow kit , l was told they are looking for another supplier as on Thursday last they folded   .. gone  . l rang them direct , got an answering machine on the 1800 line , the direct line has been disconnected . l wonder what happened & how many deposits are lost . Sad to think of the consequences.
l am now talking to Jim Best at Best Offroad in Melb for my kit

G'day Speewa - check out Affordable 4x4 drawers in the showroom section. I bought a 1.6m one for the camper - great value, great to deal with great quality. No affiliation except a happy camper.

So i guess we can kiss our warranty goodbye on our draw system and cargo barrier.........not that I ever expect to have any dramas, they are a great product.
It's a shame to see another local manufacturer close up with the loss of more Aussie jobs.

So if BW were making drawers for other brand names then it would seem other brands may have very limited supply until they find a new supplier...

Another example of the Aust 4wd industry eating itself to death from within :'( :'( :'( :'(

Do spoke directly to them today. Very sadly they are currently with liquidators and it appears it was costing them 20% more to manufacture than what the were selling the stuff for. They are also linked to tjm Sunbury, most of those workers will finish up next Friday and the 2 brothers from BW will takeover & run it

Ordered a set of drawers for the BT at the SA 4wd Show last year - told 6-8 week wait - be ready just before xmas. Finally got the call today to indicate that whilst BW are now gone, my drawers were made and delivered to local distributor before they shut up shop. Phewwww, although I wasnt hanging out for them atm with the bank balance looking low anyway. Warranty will be undertaken by local distributor who is looking for alternative local manufacturer, and that BlackWidow RV will still operate making drawers etc. for the caravan industry etc.

G'Day All,
After TJM in Mackay phoned me to tell me my order for the drawers for my Bt50 had to be cancelled i decided to go to there showroom to discuss an alternative my wife and i looked at the BW display in the back of a Ranger tub we asked ...( What about the display one at a discounted rate because it was show room stock)........Wow..they agreed if the drawers fitted.. they were ours... >:D grin.....and they fitted with no mods......So we ended up with quite a few hundred dollars off the Black Widow drawers as we really wanted....Gotta be happy with that......

Matt there product was solid, what warranty do you need on drawers anyhow?  Possibly a bearing that you could buy from a bearing shop for $8?

As I've always said, companies in this country have been taking the piss far to long, when you can get [not singling out any particular company] product bought and flown in from the US cheaper than purchase in the country they manufacture you know people are just taking the piss.
When a company can produce the same product for a competitor in the same factory as its own product and then that competitor undercut their price by half ..you know someone is taking the piss.
When people are buying a product on recommendation and marketing falsehoods and finding they're the same product produced in the same factory...you know someones taking the piss.

Im in the market for a draw system but when companies are colluding with each other to screw over the massive market they trying to service through greed and deception, is it any wonder businesses are going to the wall when people find out how they have been taking the piss!!
