Hi from Kyogle/Lismore area
« on: August 15, 2014, 09:06:23 PM »
Hi guys and gals. I'm from the Kyogle Lismore area and new to the forum. My wife and I recently purchased a soft top custom made camper off gumtree. Looking forward to tinkering and modding as well as getting out there with the family to enjoy camping. How many members are from around this area?

Hey MarkGU. I get down that way from time to time. A mate of mine from just north of the bridge works at a welding and engineering shop in Yamba. He's helping me with extending the drawbar etc etc. would love to come Oct long weekend but we are going on the maiden voyage with our new toy to Mini Waters, hopefully iron out some gremlins as we go.

Smythy17

If "area" includes the hills above Byron then we're from the area. One of the best years of my life was working in Kyogle in a previous geological era ie 1975. Keep posting on MySwag about your local camping adventures - good to share. Only problem with living on the FNC NSW is this - where to go that's better? skite skite.

Thanks guys. Good to see some locals around this neck of the woods as such. Will definately be keeping an eye out for meets and trips. We have 2 boys, 2 year old and a 3 month old. Looking forward to getting out there. It's such a nice time of year and a beautiful area up this way to get out camping too. Been in Kyogle since 2006. Inverell and Lismore boy before that.
