Led light bars
« on: July 08, 2014, 03:59:10 PM »
Hi gang, I am a new subscriber to my swag and keen to pick your brains on the best quality, best priced led light bars.
My hubby and I own an Toyota hilux sr5 (our tourer) and a shiny new Toyota Prado. The Prado is fitted with some excellent round Led spots but I am seriously considering a led light bar for my luxy.
Anyone got some that have proven to be good quality (waterproof/dust proof) but not cost a fortune?
Thanks

I bought my light bar from Bright Lights on eBay - http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/brightlightautoparts/m.html?item=191229303735&hash=item2c86279bb7&_uhb=1&pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

I've bought gear from them before for my trailer, but make sure you get the light bar on an auction, not Buy It Now. About 1/3rd the price.

I'd also suggest going for the 5W or 10W LEDs, rather than multiple rows of 3W LEDs.

Yeah, we'd heard that, although I don't believe it was proven in court..... yet.
