What is this with the Australians, driving with fog lights on when there is no fog?

From March to October it's foggy here 75% of the time.

It's the drivers that don't have fog lights and who then have to do 40kph in 100 zones that are the problem  ;D

I know what you mean, I am forever telling motorists to turn off their foggies when they come through ourbooze bus site. When I threaten them with a fine the lights go off very quickly :police:

for me it's not about running fog light during the day, but trying to use a resource that is in the bull bar but really not useful.

I have the IPF fog lights and could have used them legally maybe 4 times in 6 years.

I have my spot lights on a dual relay so that they are only on when the fogs are on and high beams are on.

now looking for more "usable" light

this is my dream set up

I have their brother: http://www.myhellalights.com/index.php/default/auxiliary-lamps/xenon-lamps/rallye-4000i-compact-xenon/  (but w/out the red ring).

also looking to replace the indicators with a light bar

http://www.narva.com.au/products/detail/9-33-volt-high-powered-led-work-lamp-flood-beam-bar---800-lumens/noheaders/1/?KeepThis=true&

this should give me the best of both worlds, without adding additional lighting on top of the barwork

if it doesn't fit within the original housing, I'm getting some custom fibreglass moulds made to suit the ARB bar and these lights

Probably too big for the little spot in the bar work?

I'm going to swap in the ARB LED replacement indicator/parker and wire the parker light as a DRL, and also want to change the foglight to a wide beam pattern LED.
