Somewhere along the bridal track hill end .  Looking forward to it.

Eddy

Has the Bridal Track re-opened? Last time I was on it there was a land slide about half way along.

We will be at the Glendora camp ground just out of Hill End. There are several swaggers in the group of us camping.

Staying at home over Easter to do some mods and fixes to the GQ but hopefully having a couple of days away mid next week. Finally doing the dual battery install.

That is what I thought. It will cost too much for them to stablise the raod and hills so they were going to leave it as it was.

With the missus working three night shifts over Easter, we are not going anywhere.  :'(
Plus not every national park up here has fully re-opened after the cyclone, so I reckon everywhere that is campable will be chockers. And that is never fun.

I might actually have to do something useful around the house like finish painting the half-painted living room.
Women sure are impatient.....I said I'd finish it. Not sure why she reminds me every six months about it   ???

Surely that is the perfect chance to get away so you don't get caught doing the painting etc.. You are only going camping so that you don't disturb your missus whilst she is sleeping during the day.

You are such a great guy after all :)

That is a great idea. It also gets the noisy kids away from the house,  more room in the fridge for beer, no-one to complain about my snoring  ...all good

We were at Hill End last month, loved it, stayed 4 nights at Village Campround run by NPWS. Checked out the Bridle Track and there are some nice looking campsites on the Turon. Went as far as the landslide and can`t imagine council would want to spend money taking equipment way out there. >:D
