Cheers for the update Hairs, the canoe centre owners would have their fingers crossed something happens soon.

Some great news I heard today,
Things are looking up for the Canoe Centre, money has been spent and there looks like this will keep their doors open
The flow is nowhere near what it use to be, but they are working on fixing this also.
So if you have heard or were told that they were closed, this isn't the case.
This is a great facility for stop overs, long weekends and for hold big meets, as many of you found out last year for our national.
So if you are traveling up & down the East Coast, drop on by and say g'day to the Kris and his family and spend a night or two there.

Cheers Kris for contacting me and informing us of how things are going.
Look forward to hearing & seeing the flow restored.
BTW, many thanks to all those that signed the petition, cheers guys,
Your support is appreciated.

Thats good news, thank for the update Jon.

We'll have to make our way down there when the weather warms up a bit. Might even try for the October long weekend.

Hi Jillsy,
It's great news for all those that rely on the water flow down the creek, I'll make things better for them all.

Hey kev,
We were thinking of heading there for Easter, maybe a joint 4wd club and Myswag do.

Bugger Paul, we'll be up Toowoombah way about then  :-[

Have set this as a Sticky Swaggers.  These guys were sensational Hosts for our 2013 National Meet - the least we can do is throw our full support behind them. Do what you can Swaggers!

Hi All
the canoe centre is still running and needing as much help as they can get.
the work on the creek is now finished and there are some good places to swim. there is still no word on what is happening with the power station. so flow in the creek is still low, but enough to keep the water holes clean for swimmers.

cheers guy
