Some great news I heard today,
Things are looking up for the Canoe Centre, money has been spent and there looks like this will keep their doors open
The flow is nowhere near what it use to be, but they are working on fixing this also.
So if you have heard or were told that they were closed, this isn't the case.
This is a great facility for stop overs, long weekends and for hold big meets, as many of you found out last year for our national.
So if you are traveling up & down the East Coast, drop on by and say g'day to the Kris and his family and spend a night or two there.

Cheers Kris for contacting me and informing us of how things are going.
Look forward to hearing & seeing the flow restored.

the canoe centre is still running and needing as much help as they can get.
the work on the creek is now finished and there are some good places to swim. there is still no word on what is happening with the power station. so flow in the creek is still low, but enough to keep the water holes clean for swimmers.
