Caper tee Valley
« on: December 04, 2013, 07:45:32 AM »
We're looking at going camping over Christmas and hubby read about this spot. Just after some ideas on what it's like and I'm guessing it will be packed over the holiday break but maybe there is somewhere quieter someone might know about.

Whereabouts are you thinking of ?

Down at The Diggings or Woolshed would be your best bet at xmas time..........and if there is anywhere that could be quiet at xmas, then this area is your best bet....

I agree. If you do go, try past the diggings. After the first river crossing head straight up the hill and down the other side. A heap more campsites there.
Also across the highway at Glen Davis is usually not too bad.

Ta everyone :) Have no idea of the area, he saw it on 4WD action DVD and said how about we go there for Christmas. We also tossed up going to King Valley, then one of the kids tonight asked about doing the GOR, so thinking we might do that yet.
If he don't make up his mind soon, we'll end up staying home lol
We have from the 23rd to the 30th so have a bit of time. And want to do it a bit on the cheap as we have a holiday in Hervey Bay planned in January
