This thread has talked me out of "upgrading" to an Xbox one.
All I play is the single player campaigns on my 360 so I've never hooked it up to the Internet.
Sounds like a real pain in the butt having to download updates before you can even play the damn thing. Even more so given that our internet isn't real fast here.
Think I'll stick to my Xbox360 even though I'm a massive Halo fan and would love to play the new one.
Once you run the updates, your set... its a day of pain and months of enjoyment... occasionally you get a 300meg update, which is actually a complete change to the game usually, like new maps, or weapons etc... really keeps the interest up.
I'm still playin the 360 too... but now that the 360 games are compatible with the 1, heaven...
Playing online is a whole new world I didn't think I'd enjoy so much.. but I joined a 'clan', and during CLAN WARS we came first 2 years in a row in our class
But the dudes I was playin' with were phenomenal, and really carried me...
