Not usually a fan of 'remakes'... I have fond memories of the early X-files, but it lost its way towards the end... Hope its good, even though its only a short run....

Its actually not a remake. Same people/ actors, just picks the story up now so all the conspiracy about 911 etc etc.
I think i read somewhere is a single series run to tie up loose ends.
I hope Mulder gets abducted

yea remake is probably the wrong word - I meant some things are better off left to die instead of flogging a dead horse.. But I'll hold off judging until the download finishes ;D

I didnt mind daredevil but thought JJ was just catering to the lesbian fraternity  >:D (not that there's anything wrong with that  ;D)

Well 4 episodes into X-Files & I'm not feelin the love.
Doesn't seem to have that mystical theme, seems to be bordering on silly & humorous, even Duchovny has a silly to smirk on his face most of the time. Thinking they're all looking for the money with the new series. But intriguing enough to keep me watching
Another i have started watching is "The Expanse" .  Not bad sort of dystopian cross between Gravity, Interstellar & The Martian,  with a bit of Total recall & The 5th Element thrown in for good measure

Just started watching 11.22.63. Looks good, based around JFK assassination & novel by Steven King. 3 episodes in & seems a quality show with a few twists.

Black sails is great,  better than GoT  (imo) particularly if you've read treasure island. Great prequel & think RLS would approve ????

A new one that has just started is VINYL. Based around recording industry in 70's, Mick Jagger is producer/collaborator, seems slick, nudity & drugs as per time periodbut looks well produced & scorcese is director so really gritty
