Trying to figure out the 2 x brass taps, what are they for?

Maybe its something to do with the early version "auto parallel parking" mode or "blind spot" monitor or "hill decent"  ;D

Looks a bit like something in an airplane.

I am certain this is a crime. That is, a crime against owners of 70 series LC's
I fail to see the point to be honest. Must be noisy.

That looks great compared to the red vehicle with all red accessories!  That was hard on the eyes ... the timber work was great and looked great ...  Now to go and put some drops in my eyes.

Almost correct jclures
that's the dashboard off the famous blower Bentley.
Those 2 things are sight glasses for the oil supply to the supercharger which was mounted off the front of the crank and sat between the front wheels. Oil comes from the oil pump to the bowl and then it drip feeds to the blower and those little taps regulate the flow.
And yes those light switches that look like they came off your old queenslander are what was fitted back in the day.
