Snow, I've got to ask, are you Mick of two wheel journalism fame?

Nope, but I was quite involved in the motorcycling scene back in the early 80's. We were fairly involved with the NSW and National MRA back then hanging out with the likes of Hal Caston and Damien Cogdognotto. Ancient history now. ;D

Cool :) I swap emails with Uncle Damien regarding his ongoing political activities, he's certainly a driven man. I also had a bit to do with NSWMCC when Guy Stanford was at the helm. You look like Matho in your avatar :P

In the UK:
1954 Morris Minor Series II van (ex Post Office)  803cc OHV 4cyl engine
1957 Morris Minor Series II van 803cc OHV 4cyl engine (after I wrote off the first one!)
1957 Morris Minor Series II van - but this one had the 948cc engine!
1959 Austin Healey Sprite - I still have fond memories of driving that.
196? Vauxhall Victor FD
197? Ford Escort wagon

Since coming to Australia:
Ford Cortina - terrible car, got rid of it after a month or two!
Honda Z - now that was fun! Two cyl aircooled 360cc motor, took two adults and two young kids all over Adelaide.
Chrysler Valiant VE(?) Safari - bench seat, 3-speed column change - the only good point was that it held a huge amount of stuff!
Mazda Capella
1987 Falcon EA - this model had a bad reputation but I never had any trouble with it
2000 Falcon AU - first car I ever bought new, due to a factory deal when my wife worked for a Ford dealer.
2002 Jeep Cherokee KJ CRD
2006 Jeep Cherokee KJ CRD - as you may guess, I like this model and this is the car I still have.

Also a Ford Laser which I bought for $1500 as a runabout when I moved to Brisbane whilst my wife was still in Adelaide.  Unfortunately the Valley yard that sold it to me was done for issuing fraudulent safety certificates and it cost me another $1500 to get it passed as roadworthy!
Camping is great as long as the mattress is inner spring!
