Qld Outdoor and Camping Expo - Toowoomba
« on: July 17, 2013, 09:27:44 AM »
Hello All,

Anyone going to this in a few weeks time (2 - 4th August)? Bit sad but I think I am more excited about going to the show and seeing all the gear than actually taking the ct for a trip in September. ;D

Any advice how to secretly buy things without the wife finding out

Back up plan is the fact that it supposed to be easier to seek forgiveness rather than permission. Will have to see how I go with that

Went a couple of years ago and wasn't impressed.  Lots of the same imported CTs (and nothing wrong with that before I start the usual debate) being sold by different companies.  Thought it a bit strange, particularly listening to the different sales talk.  Obviously the Brissy shows have heap more exhibitors.

Have fun

Im going to go now that I come back from the dark side,  (quickly worked out that caravans not for us). Cant get to the Lismore one this weekend.  Need to find a replacement camper so I can get back out there. Hopefully they have a reasonable turn out.

Have to agree KB but I have moved away from looking at CTs as a whole unit and more tend to focus on particular aspects, mods etc along with all the additional gear I can take with me when I go on trips. If I am not careful my next major purchase will need to be a semi trailer so that I can go camping. :cup:

We'll probably go.
Be interesting to see what's there this time - the Brisbane one seemed a bit quieter this year than last .....
