I'm assuming its a tube chassis car though, as its left hook.

Still very tuff though

The way it leaves the line it would have to be. Power comes on and it turns the tyres a bit. Imagine if it had a decent set of tyres under it.
But then again, that's been done to death. That's an awesome job for a little engine and a little tyre.

Its an XR6...... yes boys and girls, that means its a 6 cylinder with a yucky ol auto behind it.... but it does have a turbo fitted.... ;D

I love how it looks basically stock. No lairy paint, no big mag wheels, standard bonnet - although the chute is a bit of a giveaway. Even how they've incorporated the cage with only the little stays poking out the back of the cab. Takes a lot of restraint to make a 7 sec car look so boring.

Cheers,
Matto :)

R.I.P. Buzzard.

Yeah, with Buzzard doing the tuning and brother Gonzo driving, no matter if they beat by a car length, you still got beaten by a nose.  ;D

Raced with them, but never actually against them, but a nicer pair of brothers would be hard to come across.

RIP Joe.

The Gatt's clevo powered XA coupe wild bunch is still my all time favorite drag car.

Loved going to Calder Park in the early-mid 90's watching these guys and then later on with the shotgun powered EA doorslammer.

Just watched this movie on you tube.  A bit B grade, but the original racing footage make up for it.

It's only making around 1400hp at the moment. Once the car is sorted a little better  ;D  I'm hoping to make 2000+ hp.

That's the goal anyhow.

Hell Shane, ya might have been up and down and a bit sloppy like a cheap $50.00 hooker, but hey, ya stayed in ya own lane and didn't mow down the reflector boxes, so all's good.  ;D

Yeah I know, once it turns green, it doesn't get any greener   :-*

Just had a feeling that there was a chance I might need a little bit of his lane too  ::) if he's not there, I'm sure he won't mind if I use a little bit.

Probably not the right forum to be posted on, as it doesn't have a lot to do with 4x4's or campers, but......

If anyone hears of cheap engine and transmission parts to suit race cars, please PM or call me. A couple of racers had their truck broken into early yesterday from Perth Motorplex.

They're missing a couple of pairs of BAE Stage V Fat Heads, complete Lenco transmission with air towers, box of Crower clutch plates and floaters, box of new clutch plates, Pro Jack hydraulic power packs x2 and a box of camera gear.

I know it's a long shot, but someone somewhere might hear something.

Really gotta feel for Grant and Debbie, both really nice working class people doing it all from their own back pockets, I hope they get their stuff back.
The shame is it must have been someone in the know to take only what they did.
