Groote Eylandt will always be my favourite place, and the place that I ache to return to, but Cape Leveque, Mitchell Falls and El Questro, and everywhere in between in the Kimberley comes a very close second.
Fraser Island and Cape York are magical, as is Green Patch down south...stunning.
Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Karlu Karlu(Devil's marbles) are extremely inspiring, and there's something about Coober Pedy and it's surrounds...noodling is addictive
Newnes in the Wollemi NP is a favourite closer to home, and the nearby Lost City too.
There's something wonderous about the native flora out in Central Australia too. Even though the landscape seems flat and devoid of life, when you look closely, it's everywhere.
I'm looking forward to finding some more favourite places in a few weeks when we head out to the Simpson Desert, Flinders Ranges and Lake Mungo.
Was there a limit?
I'm also quite partial to the Hunter Valley
How lucky are we to live in such an amazing Country with an inexhaustible number of amazing places to visit?
It should keep us all busy for a lifetime
Cheers
Karen
