Longreach. Not quite how I wanted to arrive. Clutch or slave cylinder failure I think.

That's bad luck! Nice vehicle, by the way!

It's always cool over here. haha

We had a family of Kiwis move in to the house next door earlier this year.

Chatting to them one day in about April (beautiful time of year, usually down to low-mid teens overnight, then mid-20s during the day) & lady said that it's starting to get cold, so she was turning the air-con on for warmth.

I think it's run all night, every night, since then! ;D

50 is hot. I have only experienced it once, in Death Valley where you expect it to be hot.

Well we escaped Moe and went to Kiata Campground for a couple of nights and very nice it was too. The we set off for Belair Caravan Park. Crossing the border cost us about an hour but we made it into SA OK. Then on to Tailem Bend to get our mandatory COVID test. Another hour that we won’t get back. So here we are at Belair. Tomorrow we’re off to Deep Creek Conservation Park for a week of Campground Hosting.

Bloody cold and wet today. Even had a bit of hail which was most certainly not welcome in the camper. It’s all good though. The camper doesn’t leak an the el-cheap Chinese diesel heater works a treat.  :D
