Hello all,
I have been a member here for quite a few years but not very active on the posting aspect (The electrical section scared me off) just joking. Some of you will know me from the Pajero Forum.
Sorry for all the pics but didn't want the dreaded
My wife and I are from the Northern suburbs of Perth and love our camping. We started in a 2 man tent 20+yrs ago and bought our 1st Camper Trailer in 2008.
This was a project from a local Trailer Manufacturer whose Son wanted a camper trailer but his wife said no way after 2 weekends away so his custom trailer was our gain.
We embarked on many trips encompassing, Nullabour, Port Augusta, Maree, Hawker, Arkaroola, Flinders Ranges, Cameron’s Corner, Bore track to Innaminca, Eyre Peninsular, Millstream, Karijini, Exmouth, Broome, Coral Bay and the whole West Coast.
A few years back 2010 I think we tried to get to Cape York and do the Savannah Way but the floods held us back. 52 water crossings on the way to Mungarannie & Birdsville, Big Red 4metres deep at the base. You can read our Journal here
http://www2.pajeroclub.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=10398A series of events including the old Jimboomba Campers going bust, Follow Me Campers helping Luke (a member here on Myswag) led us to purchasing a new camper. See events here.

http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=27253.0This had me visiting George and Theresa at Follow Me Campers to give a donation to help ship Luke’s new camper home to him. I had no desire to upgrade or even look at their product, we were happy with what we had, perhaps a new top at some stage. So while I was there had a look at there camper tops and were amazed at the ease of the gas strutting assist. Our old camper was the old 3 bar system very heavy and awkward.
After several visits with the seed planted it sprouted and a new camper was under way. George and Theresa gave us a very reasonable price as a trade in on our old camper and a new Frankland was ordered and signed on the dotted line. After another dozen visits and a few more changes a new contract was signed with all the changes and we left it at that.
We were not in a hurry for it so gave Follow Me Campers plenty of time to finish it after the Caravan and Camping show and Easter.
Well here she is.
