On longer trips we wash the dishes in hot soapy water every morning and generally keep things things tidy.

If it's only a few days we just use paper plates etc and use the dirty ones to light the fire each day.

When we get home the dishes go through the dish washer and back in the boxes ready for next time.

If it's just the boys....  what was the question again?

My pet hate (other than idiots who think its ok to drive at 40 in a 100 zone, then do 130 in the overtaking areas) is clowns who leave rubbish at a camp site.

Clean it up ya bogans >:(

Where did anyone say they leave the camp site a mess when they leave?

I have a bit of OCD.

While camping everything has its place and I like it kept that way. Then when I need it, I know where to find it.

On the way home I like to find a car wash and high pressure clean the camper, that way by the time I get home its all nice and dry.

When we get back from a weekend, I put the camper back up to let it air, sweep the floor, vacuum around and under the bed if necessary, clean the kitchen again, re stock the plastic tubs with food, air the chairs, re stock the linen and fill the water tanks before putting it back in the shed and charging the batteries.

We are reasonably clean and are on the lower spectrum for OCD  ;D

Everything in the camper has its place and it does make it easy to find. We wash all the cooking/meals stuff with hot water and detergent.

The children will get a shower or bucket bath if they ask but sometimes depending on the mess they are in we will force them to go through that torture.

The spud peeler is an over packer of the clothing variety so there is always a big washing bag full of dirties to clean.

We also make a list of what needs replacing or changing whilst we are out so that we can get it when we come back so we don't miss anything

The CT gets swept clean (inside and the base) each pack up and the linen gets replace probably every 2 trips or so. I wash the camper properly every 2 or 3 trips but its gets pressure cleaned or hosed down after each trip depending on how dirty it is.

When the CT is back in the garage it will be opened up partially to air if we had to wet pack up. If it was a dry pack up I always unzip half of the cover so air can get in and out. Sometimes I will prop it open with milk crates and the like to enhance the circulation

I used my blower vacuum in the house last week. It worked ok but I need an electric one with throttle control because the petrol stinks to much......Anyway Instead of a broom in the camper I use a battery powered air mattress pump thing to blow all of the sand and Shit into the corner and then pick it up with a dustpan.

Works well.

Dishes are washed with hot soapy water and put away after every meal. Limited space so we really need to be organised.
We shower and change every evening, though we usually skip the shower on the last evening.
The linen comes out after every trip.
The camper trailer is swept out most every day.
The camper trailer is washed only when it needs it so not always after every trip.

We spread out a bit whilst camping, but I like to keep things in their place (pantry wise) ... it saves trying to find what you are looking for and we can just simply shut it to keep out the critters.

We wash dishes each morning and shower each night.

Major cleanup on the camper so we can pack and leave - involves making the bed, stowing loose items, sweeping the floor (give it a wet chux if required), and things go back where they came from ready for next trip.

Dunno, that's this missus' job >:D

True that.

The girls always use hot soapy water for the dishes and I have 2 rules around the camp. Brush your teeth everyday and clean undies everyday.

Our dishes / cutlery / pots etc are washed in hot (boiling) water with detergent after each meal. I find it easier to use boiling water as some is set aside for the hot cuppa afterwards. For clothes, we also take an empty duffle bag with us. As the dirty clothes are replaced with clean clothes, the dirty clothes are placed into the "dirty clothes duffle". When we get home we can just take the "dirty clothes duffle" straight to the laundry.

Pack up involves giving surfaces a wipe down and going around with a hand held vacuum cleaner.

Back at home and there might be further cleaning as required to have everything ready for the next trip.
