Remanufactured some blinds for the house, after a bit of a mistake by the wife when ordering. She measured 1020mm wide and ordered 1200mm.
First job was to cut the blind material with a Stanley knife and steel straight edge. (Missing photo for this bit)
Cut the aluminium tube to length
Reassemble the blind and hang.
The 30min job of hanging four double blinds turning into around 5 hours work
. All done now though, and the wife was beside herself that I could correct the problem, rather than having to order the whole lot again.
I commented that it was a good thing she didn’t measure 1200 and order 1020.
