prices have changed so much now...about 15 year ago we paid $1000 for our Bloodwood coffee table and our Blackbutt dining table combined...bargain of the century.

I think you will need a bigger cooler, but hey if you just stand in front of it...

I got 50mm mineral wool with anticon on my shed roof, makes a huge difference.

Lot's of big projects on the site, all I did was fit a handle to my newly arrived prospecting pick and fix the pole back into the wife's coit set.
I think I have project envy!  ;D :D ;D

Yesterday I backed my 80 Series Cruiser out of the shed for the last time. After 8 years of ownership (I never keep my cars that long) & only 40,000k's of driving it I decided it was time to let her go. Only just finished having her repainted as I was giving her a birthday and going to do the big FTE conversion. This hasn't been a snap decision. About 8 months ago I bought Wifey a new Mazda 3 SP25 and told her I would have our Pajero as my truck. The writing was on the wall. I held out thinking we could live with 3 cars but it was really not viable as I ride to work and the Cruiser and the Paj were both sitting not being used.
Anyways, the 80 has gone to her new home to live another life. I'm sure it will give many more years of faithful service as it really was one of the good ones.

Started turning a railroad tie into an anvil.
Why? Because I want to, and I can.
Will I ever use it? Who knows, but I’ll have it if I need it much like the forge I’ll build in a couple weeks...

I cut it to length with my steel chop saw.
Was hoping to do a bit with my plasma but it’s a bit thick for that.
The inside curve under the horn is a bunch of holes I drilled then cut between them with the plasma, worked a charm.
The horn I shaped with my 100mm and 115mm grinders just using 1mm thick cutting discs.
I’ve used about 20-25 x 100mm discs and 3 x 115mm discs. (More 100mm discs because the 115 is cordless, so I just used it where it was to deep for the 100mm to get, Plus the slightest twist shatters the thin discs)
I cut a bit to much off one side (I didn’t put enough thought into it before going into rip-tear mode so I just built it back up with weld and it came out fine.
Just shaped it with a regular 100mm grinding disc, then I’ll pretty it up with flap discs.
I won’t bother trying to grind the top flat and will instead weld a big ole hunk of flat steel onto it...

Built a mezzanine in my garage to get some gear and the swags off the ground. Tidied up and culled the boxes which have not really been looked at for the past 3 years. A bit more to do to organise everything.

Will look at putting the ride on under the mezzanine to give a bit more room to the general floor area

G'day peoples , I have started a new project . I am in the process of building a new enclosed trailer .

This one is so that I can cart the grandkids BMX bikes and all of the gear back and forth without tying up one of the vehicles .

The bikes, chairs and all of the gear will live in the trailer .
