Cranked them up on the house sound system tonight and I was surprised how good they sounded  . I've put some floor sound deadening stuff inside them to stop any tinny vibration sounds. Very happy for about two hours work and a few bucks  :cup:

Swapped a 7 pin socket to a 12 pin socket on a mates 200 ready for his pending caravan delivery.

These crimp pins worked with 6B&S with a few strands removed. I can't find them anywhere, they were really good, anybody know where to get them?

They're called Insulated Pin Crimps, or Pin Connectors. You should be able to pick them up at most electrical trade supply places and some auto electrical supply places.

I've achieved three things with one "project".

1) showed everyone on this forum what a dodgy 9kg heater looks like.

2) showed my wife that She really should authorise funds to buy one instead of having a go and

3) after watching multiple you tubes and reading plenty on arc welding watched my welding actually get worse.

I'll now celebrate with a beer.

spent a few hours working on my work trailer today, so thought i'd get the genny out and gave it a run for a few hours seeing as though it's been sitting around for many months doing nothing but gather dust.
