Well, not in the cave but on the boat. Varnished the floors, bulkheads and seats, then accidentally kicked over the can and poured half a litre of the stuff on the carpeted, sloping, cockpit floor. Said some rude words, tried to mop it up, then leaned my arm on the freshly painted seat, said more words, and grabbed the support behind me which was also wet. Then I gave up and I will assess the damage tomorrow. Can't even think who to blame.

Just got the old water pump off my tractor. Just need to buy new hoses and belts tomorrow and start putting it back together. Turns out there is only 1 bolt and the hoses holding the radiator in on that old tractor.

Well it was a sad day. Yesterday I was working in the cave ripping some timber down and thought This blade is getting a bit dull so I'll change it after this cut. Well 300mm before the end of the cut the magic smoke escaped out of my saw and now it is dead. 18.5 years of work it did for me in the triton. Just doing stuff around the house and the like. Furniture, Extension. It was a wedding present from my wife to me so it did  have a little sentimental value.
If anyone wants a Hitachi Saw let me know 235mm one owner only driven around the shed a few times.
So I rang around the local suppliers to get a price on a new Makita saw and they ranged from $280 down to $219 (Green shed) so I picked up one and used the power pass card account of my mate and paid $208. It is all mounted up now in the triton and ready for todays work.

Regards

I need cut off saw , sick of cutting metal only to find the cut is more diagonal than straight.

That is a bit high tech for me I would have used a string line ad water level.
