Should be able to cook in a gale with that windbreak.

that's the plan... :)  amazing how the wind affects the heat beads on top of the camp oven...

Finished the wheel bearings on my CT. Started 10 days ago. done the left hand side no worries, right hand side, oops water been in here, inner seal gone, do the ring around, think we know what it is but bring in a sample. well Adelaide is 3 hours one way. can't get that seal anymore( why would you) this one, slightly smaller axel diameter but will do the job. OK I'll take two and a new set of bearings, Might as well do both sides at the same time. so feeling pretty happy with my self, not the sort of thing I'll get at any old auto shop let alone on some bush track. Pretty easy to do your self and save some grief on the road

Astrid wants to know, can you build one suitable for a fat husband that would work on a couch?

Firstly, good job, I imagine it would of been a bugger. Hopefully the draw on that flue won’t be too long, but the offset on the bottom maybe beneficial in stopping any excessive draw.

Now I get that it can get cold on the Central Highlands of Qld and understand that.

This fell off the roof at home yesterday morning -

Playing auto electrician tonight .. I hates wires, but it has to be done ..
Ordered some flash " Blue " lit Voltage and Temperature  displays from Virus land, Yeah Yeah buy Aussie and all that, I would if Aussies built the stuff and it was a decent $$ .. And some Computer fans to pull hot air out of the compressor compartments of the Waeco and little Engel ..
But I refuse to pay an Aussie premium to some bloke who got the same product from virus land ..The same as I can .
Anyway  Red is usualy + positive  and Black usualy - Negative with 12v stuff or so I thought and worked fine that way on the computer fans .....
But some little Chink must be a bit Dislexic .. Scratching the head thinking the bloody Voltage and Temp displays must be buggered as they would not work . Then a random What if they pinned the output leads back to front thought crept into the noggin ...
Bingo all displays are now working   Phewww ..   I hates wires     .... Bloody dodgy aut elecs .(mod edit)
