They look great Crispy, i used to really enjoy making sets when my two daughters used to dance. Your sets make me miss it a bit but not the backstage work, geez those dance mums can be hard work

Thanks Macca, Yep Dance Mums are hard work. This is our older youth cast so not many parents to deal with and because it is theatre the problem parents don't volunteer to help they only complain so when they do I say  "and what have you done to help?" that usually shuts them up quickly.
Love the work I do for this. Just about a week ago I had gear in 4 productions and I helped program lights for another show for my kids former school.

I always wanted to get into the lighting but for some reason they thought being colour blind might be a bit of a problem, i couldnt see sense in their reasoning, after all i only painted the leaves on the trees red once. Did enjoy running the backstage for about five years, had a good bunch of guys helping me tho. Dont think a lot of the audience  know how much (chaos) goes on backstage to run a good show

This show there is no Chaos back stage. We have a very cruisey job with only a few things that go on and off and they only pop on the side and we stand behind and then remove them. Only 2 crew required but other shows it is hard work that require a big team to get it all done. We like it to be simple and not see stage hands out there all the time.
2 shows down with 2 to go. Not sure what shows we have on the cards for next year yet.
Lighting is good fun but being colour blind could be a disadvantage.

Finished refitting alternator, and all the Shit I had to remove to get it out. Something still rattling :(
Idler pulley next which is a vagina to get to apparently. Vince has bearings spare so will head round one night and play.

Fitted a fiberglass bonnet scoop.. nice fit, will see how it goes

Changed pillar pod for a 2 pod from a 3 pod - been on the 2do list for 12mths... Not sure I like it... cant see the bottom gauge clearly..
but will go for a drive in a minute and see how it looks.

Have been trying to make the shed more useable for rocking horse making by moving the forge, anvil & other metalwork stuff to another shed & ejecting a heap of stuff/junk.

To improve dust & sawdust removal I purchased a shop vac but found it quickly blocked up with the larger shavings so manufactured a dust separator as seen in the photo. Now all the shaving drop out in the white bucket & only the finer dust is captured in the vacuum. In hindsight I could have brought a vac with a smaller holding capacity.

Plenty of ideas for how to on youtube.

Got one! :D (Well OK, it was last week, but that's close enough!)

Only 6x3, which I know wouldn't even count as a storage box for some people on here :-[, but, to me, it's bloody massive!

Nice & clean & empty on day one, but that's already changed with shelf units & a storage cupboard in & slowly being filled as I get things sorted, & work out what go's where ???

Anybody on the GC / NNSW that's looking for a shed, I can heartily recommend Chris at A1 Garden Sheds http://www.a1gardensheds.com.au/ :cup:

I've spent the past couple of days relocating the battery on the camper trailer, from the side, in front of the wheel arch, to inside the storage box on the A frame. I'm mounting the Redarc charger in a separate junction box on the outside of the storage box.
I'll add the story, and photos, to the Electrical section, once the relocation is complete.

regards
Rusty...

Hey mate. Is that from baintech that power top? I'm looking at putting a second battery in the back of a dual cab and am looking at there 160 amp dual battery kit. Just wondering if there gear is reasonable quality.
I went and had a chat to a couple of the bigger name 4wd shops and the price they want for essentially a battery box with a charger is ridiculous. Admittedly they had redarc regulators in them but I don't see that being $1000 difference.
