Restocked the Engal then set about to find the bottom of it . Failed yet again to reach the bottom . Will restock & try again

Btw, if you do find the bottom, buy a bigger fridge or get the stacker that increases the height of ya engel and then add more beer.

And if you still can't find the bottom, bring it to the 2019 National Meet and show us all this freak of nature.
I'm sure there will be a few helpers to help you get to the bottom of this.

I think at least part of the explanation, is that Speewa has it full of that stuff in green cans :'( Not even he can stomach enough of that to empty the fridge >:D

I drove 730km so I could do an oil change in the comfort of my own shed. I'm less worries about slopping sump oil and diesel in my own garage than in the place I rent.

I was a bit worried about the oil pump priming issue that the Rangers and BT's are supposed to be prone to, but it all went according to plan and the oil pressure was up to spec within seconds of starting the motor.

The was a bit of a scramble when the sons kitten tried to hop in the drain pan 1/2 way through ... bloody cat.

I've been working on the Caddy all day until about 20 minutes ago.

This morning, I had the cylinder heads set up on some timber on the block next door for painting.
By the time the Jehovah Witness couple got here on their Saturday morning door knock, I was up to my armpits in Caddy stuff.

He started walking up the side of the house where I had the Caddy out of the shed.

I said, "Argh Jesus, nah mate, not today" before i'd realised what i'd actually said.

He said, "no problem, i'll put my flyer away and check out the car."

I said, "umm, yeah, i'm kinda busy."

He said, "The heads look nice out the front"

Ended up chatting for 15 minutes before I finally gave him the bums rush and not one word was said about Jesus, the state of the world or whether I needed converting.

did a tyre rotation on the tug, tightened bolts on the camper and serviced the camper electric winch. found out that somebody assembled the winch motor and forgot to refit the springs to the brushes. was wondering why the motor was running in a sporadic manner?

I was telling a mate about a cat we had that did something similar.
Yeah the bloody cat started drinking from the dish of petrol we were washing the spark plugs in.
  Geez, what happened?
He took off running around the yard round and round the trees, up the steps and into the house. Ran around the kitchen table, into the loungeroom, around the furniture a couple of times, then ran up one of the curtains and fell down from the top, and was laying there on his back on the floor.
  Dead?
Nup, ran out of petrol....  ;D

Looks good Kev.
First hot rod I ever built I painted the engine black.
Looked sweet as.
Took me forever to find an oil leak though so I never did that again...

Hey Kev, Nice work  :cup:
Looking forward to seeing pic of you & the Cook cruising.

I rebuilt a 351 in a 3x3 garden, then upgraded to a 3x6 storage shed for the rest of the rebuild of 69  XW Fairmont.

Cool Hairs.

It did rain yesterday, so it now has heads, rocker etc all fitted up.  :D The pic is when I was pulling it apart, hence... dirty engine.

Its a tight fit in the shed/man cave. (I have to go outside to change my mind)

Hope to be doing this again real soon.
