Put the 80 on the hoist and rebuilt the hand brake with all new shoes, clips, retainers, springs and adjusters. Having the hand brake part of the discs machined. Clean and repacked rear wheel bearings and new inner axle oil seals. Reassembly tomorrow. Then I'll start on the front. Swivel hub rebuild, repack wheel bearings and new tie rod ends. Next week will be fitting the extractors and new 409 s/steel 2.5inch mandrel bent exhaust & give everything underneath a lick of paint. I love being unemployed.........for now.
Cheers, Mike.

I made PVC snow!!! I was making up some pole carriers and cut the first one to length on the drop saw, that was a mistake. My bench and anything close to it is now covered in PVC snow that sticks like sh_t to a blanket. The remaining cuts were done the old fashioned way with a handsaw and a lot less mess.

Went out for the day. Left the garage door open 9am-430. Fortunately no one decided my stuff was better than theirs, so nothing missing. Where is the forehead slap emoji?

used to use mediamonkey years ago (along with winamp, no less... :) ), but haven't looked at it for ages...

might have to have another look... :)

Still copying my CD's onto PC onto USB....22 hours so far....but the end is in sight with only about another 6 hours to go  :-[

But...I have discovered another issue...if my USB is plugged into PC...I can see all titles etc....but when plugged into car stereo....all I get is folder 1 etc etc....which means looking for anything in particular is like looking for a needle in a haystack  ???

Cheers

Question....

I used a usb in car stereo the other day, and it seemed as if the blue tooth would not connect.

Anyone else had that issue.

One of my neighbours does that all the time. Whilst it doesn't bother me, it does when his house alarm keeps going off because he left the door open.

On USB in cars you will likely need to organise the music into folders.. Many mobile head units can't deal with it where as PCs sort better using their software.

All copied CD's are in their own folder with titles etc.

Only option I can think of is to write down somewhere ...folder one = joh blow etc etc.
Another tedious job to do me thinks :(

Yes !!
Took me ages to figure out as the pioneer manual that came with it was all Greek to me ( no offence to Greeks intended ) until I went looking on you tube for eg: how to connect smart phone via Bluetooth to pioneer stereo model.
Managed to connect but it must be in sequence or it will fail...or at least it did for me.
Can't remember off the top of my head how I did it now..sorry....but it was VERY FRUSTRATING  >:D
The other thing with the USB...there is a setting that needed to be selected in order for the USB to automatically play when plugged in.
Good luck.

Cheers

When extracting and encoding, set your software up to save files in separate folders in the style of
Music/<Albumartist>/<Album>/<track#> - <title>.mp3
or for compilation albums
Music/<Albumartist>/<Album>/<track#> - <title>[<artist>].mp3

or similar.

Same when you sync yojur external device.

That way you should be able to navigate through Artists (AC-DC, Aerosmitch, Ariel etc.) select tha artist, then select through their albums.

personally, I don't bother. I just set "All Random" and listen to whatever gets selected

Usually, same here.  But I have a number of playlists set up on the iPhone with 6- 7 hours of music on each one....Just select one and shuffle...

Only tried the USB stick once, so will have to see if I can sort out that issue...
