In all seriousness he either hit the go pedal instead of the brake or he had cruise control  / throttle failure ..
 Are those things fly by wire electronic throttles or do they still have the good old cable connection to the throttle / accelerator pedal ?

That Charger has 11,000 klm on the clock @ 1:51 into the clip, so it wasn't as "New" as the story put up by Merv Stint.
