Have you looked at the Bridgestone d697?

Currently have just replaced my geolanders with these.  Very happy so far.

I sold my 5 17" grandcraps with 35km's on them for $850 to a bloke I saw with bald tyres on a 120 Prado.
My old man just sold his new 18" grandcraps for $880.

He went the 697 and I went BFG AT.

I dont know what the cost of the 697's were
I got the BFG's for $325 a corner, so the whole exercise cost me $770.

Goes in for a lift tomorrow.

Cheers Nomad.

A 265/70/17 will fit on the 7" rim..

The increase in dia will have only a very slight affect on gearing ( but may make your speedo actually read a lot closer to actual speed )

As for an allround A/T tyre.......really can't go past BFG A/T.....

Compared to the Cooper ATR and MT ATZ I had on previously, the BFG's are quiet on the road, safe in the wet, and are pretty good offroad as well..

Have the Cooper ST Maxx. Brilliant AT tyre.

Anywho, irrespective of which breed, if you planning any harsh gravel touring, you'd be mad not having a LT construction tyre.
That is all. ;D
2005 4.2TD ST Patrol 4 door ute, lifted, locked, ARB barred and Warn winched, 33" Cooper ST Maxx.....and a denco turbo upgrade! mmmm power.....

Do yourself a favour and have a look at the Dick Cepek FC2. Brilliant strong tyre.
