Would put the epicenter somewhere near Trafalgar South.

In Mansfield too - we're on stumps and you feel small wobbles in the house, nothing like that one though, was about to scream out to the kids to stop whatever the hell they were doing then it stopped!

A pretty big bump down this way.  My parents place is only about 5kms from the epicenter will be interesting to see how they fared.

Interesting that was another quake only 10 days ago (or so) up around Gunnedah / Tamworth....must be some stuff going on down there beneath the surface.

It's one of those natural events that reminds us that we are not in charge.......

So I am at work when the quake strikes. I wonder what has run in to the machine that I am operating only it goes on and on. I am only about 15km form the epicenter.
Felt a couple of aftershocks.
My SES unit has had 3 calls and others nearby have had more. I will check the house when I get home in the morning.

If you listen to the radio or TV today, you'd swear that it was twice as strong as the Christchurch Quakes put together.

The page 4 photo in the hearld with some old duck standing next to 1 photo on the wall, thats been rattled to about 1cm off center in Ringwood makes me ROTF!
