I'm a dad, and thats the greatest thing that I can be :D

Great news uncyspam and never a truer comment made.  Everything pales in comparison.  All the things you thought were important get a different perspective.

Now for your first test...

Seeing that you've got a little boy, let me ask you this:

On a scale of 1 to "FAAAAAARK!!", how much do you think this hurts to stand on in the dead of night:

Get used to it

I'm not so good with advice... can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

thanks all :D

Took him out tonight while we had dinner and tried to play trivia at the local. managed to last much longer than I thought he would... so camping may not be that far off :D Actually, considering its pretty much too cold already for me to want to camp, I'd say we won't be hitting the trails before October... though I'm still thinking about a July Holiday across the Simpson if I can convince SWMBO

These little suckers are the things that hurt when you tread on them in the middle of the night.
As LJ said, get used to it. Firewalking is a good lead up to it I believe.
