We arrived at paradise beach which we have renamed to mozzie heaven.
We knew it was likely to rain and after just getting setup and eaten alive it started to rain and didn't stop for 3 days.
The new 16x18 tarp got tested and out roof never got wet at all. No leaks and great insurance for storms.
Stookie had a go at fishing but due to the serious waves his bait didn't stand a chance.
We are working to reduce our setup and repacking times as its taking to long.
We have reduced a fair bit of fluff from the storage box and reckon more will get the heave ho once we get our mojo.
Camping with kids is bloody hard but it's entertaining them whilst you get set up or packed.
Hamish is 2 so a movie on the iPhone works but Matilda is 10 months and mums the only entertaining she wants.
All in all it's testing and fun.
We discovered the trailer doesn't tow well with the bike on the back so stookie had to ride it so we could get up some hills at above 30 kmph
We stayed at a powered site in Eden discovery park last night. It was Lils birthday and she wanted a hot shower.
We packed up and set off for moruya heads. We are now here for a week so if anyone's in the area then come swing past.
The jackaroo is getting 17.7lt /100km towing so we are not doing too badly. It just doesn't like the hills. I think the weight on the back is too much off balance and it's getting dragged especially up hills.
With the bike off it tows fine.
Another stupid thing.
We hooked up an Anderson lead at rear of car do we can charge CT whilst driving. But it doesn't seem to be charging ? I used 240v and my charger to charge it up at last stop.
Not best pleased about that
Anyway next stop
