Easter plans, Who's going where?
« on: April 05, 2012, 10:05:36 AM »
We're taking the camprite out to Karijini for a few days, heading off at sparrows tomorrow morning, hoping to beat some of the crowds,  should be a cracker weekend.  Where's everyone else off to?

Cheers,
Kieran

Since we're semi retired I thought 'why get frustrated with the Easter crowd'? Instead we will stay home & do a few days trips to Armidale, Grafton, Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour and Nambucca.  ;D

Then when all is quiet on the Western Front, we will venture out into the wild blue yonder.

Hopefully the weather Gods will smile on us.

To all those who can't have our option we wish you all a great camping experience.

Cheers - Wayne D
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

We like staying home over Easter as well and avoiding the crowds. Besides April is a lovely time of the year in Perth, and possibly the best month of the year for fishing and boating around these parts.   ;D

I'm not so good with advice... can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

Congrats Tjupurula!

We are staying at home as most of Brisvegas (took their dog) and left sometime through the week for a camping weekend.    We camped last week and are due to camp next week, so 4 days relaxing at home in a very quiet suburbia (I hope).

I'm especially hoping that our worst neighbour, who argue at all hours, at the drop of a hat, who love the F-word yelled at the top of their lungs with gusto, with zero regard for the rest of the neighbourhood, and drive off like they own this road and often leave "tracks" and the smell of burning rubber ... are at least going somewhere else this weekend (that's my dream at least).

Unfortunately this Easter will be spent at a family funeral, poor wife just lost her father this week, having also lost her mother 12 months ago.

We're doing our first trip with the Tambo, which is incidentally our first ever trip with a CT. Heading to Chillagoe. It'll be a bit of a shakedown trip so we can figure it all out before we start to go on some longer trips.

Campfire, our condolences to you both.

Just finished packing and heading only 30kms from home in the morn onto private property on the Lachlan River. Just got the boat rack on the camper last week, should be a ripper.

DIY, Gardening, home maintenance, home stuff,....
A day at the races, the good wife has already made a fascinator for the cup day,

oh yeah, and dealing with stupid bloody family crap.

The family (aunts and uncles/parents included) are all trying to put my 95 year old grandfather in a 'old peoples' home as none of them want to deal with him.
Bloody familys. Sometimes you wish you could tell them what you really think.
My grandad still drives to our house 4 days a week, and is sharp as knife, as fit as a 95 year old is who makes plans every day,...and lives them out. Passes his driving test every year, tells the best jokes and is the best Grandad ever.
Maybe this should be in the 'What peaves me off thread', (the daily rant thread).
So yeah, my fun easter weekend will be scarred by silly family issues and no doubt some falling out between the family.

If Grandad had a couple bob, the feeling would be different no doubt.

Hope you all enjoy the easter break. Safe travels.
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....
